2026 Overview — The RAC

When:

· April 6 - April 12, 2026 (PUSD Spring Break)

Required Training:

· At least one ride with the group per month. Try to ride every weekend.

· Participation in one Safety Fun Ride

· Participation in at least two Escondido Hill Rides (EHRs)

· Total of 350 miles, which you will report to us in March. Honor system

Required Attendance (at Design 39 Campus; 17050 Del Sur Ridge Rd, San Diego; Multipurpose Room):

· Mandatory Meeting in August: 21 or 26, 2025; 7:00 p.m.

· Mandatory Meeting in March 2026, tbd.

Suggested Attendance (at Design 39 Campus; 17050 Del Sur Ridge Rd, San Diego; Multipurpose Room):

· Meeting in November 2025, tbd.

Mandatory Safety Vests:

· Must be safety (neon) yellow

· Must cover your torso and include your name

· Must wear it on your first ride with us

· Buy at Home Depot, Amazon, or similar stores

· Recommend buying one with a pocket or two for snacks, trash, during RAC

Cost to Participate:

· $525 per rider (adult and 5th grader)

· $250 per chase driver

· $200 per chase kid

o $100 per family is non-refundable and due October 1st, 2025

o 50% of the remainder is due November 15, 2025

o Final payment is due February 15, 2026. All payments non-refundable after that.

RAC Reunion (at Design 39 Campus; 17050 Del Sur Ridge Rd, San Diego; Multipurpose Room):

· May, 2026; tbd.

· Potluck: bring a dinner dish to share
